A Musical Journey
Savanah Benz is a true country girl at heart. As a country singer from the state of North Dakota, Savanah has had door-opening opportunities that she will forever hold dear to her heart. When you talk about country, Savanah Benz is the real deal.
Ever since she was a little girl, Savanah has had a passion and a love for music. Growing up, she wasn't brought up with the ABC's or nursery rhymes, she grew up on the old country classics. In fact, the first two songs she ever learned were, "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash, and "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins. Growing up around horses, living outside of town, learning to linedance, and riding 4-wheelers, I guess you could say the country in her blood and soul came naturally.
Savanah is the true definition of country roots and cowgirl boots. Influenced by some of the 'Greatest" in country music such as, Loretta Lynn, Tayna Tucker, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Danielle Bradbery, Gabby Barrett, Eric Church, Johnny Cash, and the list goes on. Savanah started singing around the age of 9 years old after she watched one of her biggest idols, Danielle Bradbery win "The Voice." Savanah started performing in public around 12 years old. She then knew that the stage was where she belonged. In 2017, Savanah was entered into the North Dakota's Got Talent local competition where she came in as runner-up. Determined to keep pursuing her dreams and setting goals to achieve those dreams, she ended up competing in the 2019 Minot State Fair Talent Contest where she was crowned 1st place after singing "Coal Miner's Daughter" by Loretta Lynn.
Savanah has been writing her own songs consistently and hopes to record some originals soon. Keep your eyes and ears open for Savanah Benz!
